Soul Head South Searching For 8-0 in Jacksonville

By Matt Leon

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) --- The Philadelphia Soul will look to stay perfect for the 2015 Arena Football League when they travel down to Jacksonville to take on the Sharks on Saturday night.

The Soul improved to 7-0 on the season this past Friday as they took care of the Orlando Predators in South Philadelphia, 62-48.

Philadelphia is one of just two undefeated teams left in the AFL (San Jose is the other) but head coach Clint Dolezel says they still haven't achieved optimum efficiency.

"Getting there," Dolezel tells KYW Newsradio. "We're not there yet, obviously. Of course I'm a perfectionist. We didn't do a lot of things right on the offensive side (against Orlando). We still scored a lot of points, but that's because our defense put us in good situations."

That defense will get a boost this week as a key piece returns from ankle injury.

"We get (linebacker) Beau Bell back this week which is a huge advantage for us," Dolezel says. "We've missed him for the last two weeks and his pressure."

This will be the second time the Soul and Sharks have matched up this season. Back in Week 3 on April 12th, the Soul took care of Jacksonville, 63-52, at the Center. The Sharks are just 2-5 this season but Dolezel says they are dangerous.

"They're playing better," Dolezel says. "The first time we played them they were still trying to find themselves and they've found themselves. They're playing a lot better offensively, defense is starting to get it together as well. So we expect a rowdy crowd in Jacksonville and it will be a tough environment."

Philadelphia and Jacksonville will kickoff at 7:00 tomorrow night.
