Sean O'Sullivan Makes Bare-Handed Grab Against Pirates

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Sometimes when you're on the mound and a ball is hit right back at you, your instincts take over. While you may be caught to catch the ball with the glove hand at all times, every once in a while a pitcher goes bare-handed.

Phillies starter Sean O'Sullivan did just that on Tuesday night against the Pirates.

To be fair, it was a pitcher up to bat in O'Sullivan's former teammate, A.J. Burnett. It was also a check swing.

However, a bare-handed catch is still an impressive feat when you are just 60 feet, 6 inches away from the batter.
