Oh man, this is a breakfast-and-a-half. Several thick slabs of nicely cooked French toast, smothered in Chantilly cream, rum anglaise, banana mascarpone, caramelized banana and maple syrup. If you've got a sweet tooth, this one's for you.

But, to be honest, we needed a magnifying glass to find the smoked Applewood bacon that's listed in the title. No strips, no slabs, no chunks – just a few loosely dropped specks of bacon about the size of a pine nut. If they want to build this thing as "French toast so sweet it will make your head explode," that's great. But if you're selling me "bacon French toast," put a little more of the good stuff in the product.
