Police: Woman Dead, Another Hospitalized Following Shooting In Del.

WILMINGTON, Del. (CBS) -- Police say a 24-year-old woman has died after being shot Tuesday night in Wilmington, Delaware.

Authorities say Artise Brown and another 19-year-old female were both found suffering from gunshot wounds and taken to Christiana Emergency Room.

Police say Brown succumbed to her injuries at the hospital. Officials say she was shot in her lower back area.

The 19-year-old victim is listed in stable condition. Police say she suffered a gunshot wound to her left upper leg area.

Police say the investigation is ongoing and there is no available information on a suspect at this time.
