Nice Weather In Store Before The Rain Moves In Thursday

By Geoff Bansen

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Monday will be a bit of a mixed bag in terms of weather. Some sun will mix with clouds throughout the day. A large spinning area of low pressure up in southeastern Canada will send clouds and even a few light sprinkles our way this afternoon. But it's a mainly dry day, albeit still on the cool side with highs in the low 60s.

The weather will be on our side for the next two days, with abundant sunshine and highs rising into the upper 60s and low 70s on Tuesday and Wednesday, respectively. That is, if you're a fan of that kind of thing.

If you are a fan of cooler temperatures, clouds, and rain, Thursday and Friday will be worth keeping an eye on. A disturbance will pass to the south of the Delaware Valley, and could redevelop offshore. This would bring the aforementioned conditions our way to end the work week.
