This entire restaurant is dedicated to the love of bacon, and the menu is stuffed with creative ideas centered on our favorite food. Partner Wes Reeser cures, smokes and rubs about 10 of his own flavors, including mango habanero and cinnamon chipotle. They're thick-cut and meatier than what you're likely used to. You're going to want to try them all.

Our favorite dish was the Flying Saucer, which is a Frisbee-sized homemade hash brown cake, smothered in caramelized cheddar cheese, then covered with bacon and a sunny-side up egg. We tried it with the mesquite bacon, which proved to be a great choice.

We also loved the Pancake Battered Bacon which is, essentially, like an Atlantic City funnel cake – but stuffed with bacon and drenched in maple syrup. It's waayyyy rich – a dish best shared.

The Bacon Press is a winner. And Reeser knows his audience – he now offers candied bacon seasoned with Southern Tier Beer Crème Brulee. That's every worthy food group on one plate, eh?
