Chris Christie Greeted With Eagles Chants, Boos At Store Opening In Atlantic City

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J., (CBS) -- The relationship between Eagles fans and New Jersey Governor Chris Christie did not get better over the last year.

Christie made his love of the Cowboys very apparent to the Giants and Eagles fans that make up the majority of his state.

Everyone in the area saw their share of Jerry Jones/Chris Christie hugs and high fives.

On Wednesday, Eagles fans in South Jersey took an opportunity to let Christie know what team they support.

While Christie attended the grand opening for a new Bass Pro Shop store in Atlantic City, Eagles fans let him know they were on hand. The Governor was greeted with Eagles chants and a collection of boos as he addressed the crowd of people excited to see the new store coming to their town.

To further energize the Eagles fans in attendance, former Eagles running back Brian Westbrook was also on hand for the event.

While Christie called Westbrook over to help to calm the Eagles faithful down, the former Eagle decided to lead the crowd in another Eagles chant.
