JaKarr Sampson Throws Down Embarrassing Dunk Against Jerryd Bayless

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The Sixers season is winding down and in game 81, JaKarr Sampson might have given us the highlight of the year. Sampson registered a put back dunk in Monday night's game against the Bucks.
The slam is the type that inspired the term "posterized."
Sampson's dunk nearly knocked the headband off of Bayless' head. Anyone who is a fan of utterly disrespectful dunk displays would appreciate that slam. Another dunk took place on Monday night in the Timberwolves game against the Pelicans. Andrew Wiggins threw down a slam against Omer Asik who should have thought twice before attempting to block the attempt.
Was Wiggins slam a nice one? Absolutely it was. There may be no better highlight reel play than a face-to-face dunk over a bigger defender. However, the Sampson dunk was the one that should have been lighting up social media on Monday night.
What he did to Bayless on that play was the perfect combination of disrespect and athletic prowess and as a true fan of the dunk, it was only right to show my respect.
