NJ Man Admits Exchanging Explicit Photos With 12-Year-Old Girl
TRENTON, N.J. (AP) — Federal prosecutors say a central New Jersey man has admitted possessing sexually explicit images of a 12-year old Pennsylvania girl with whom he had an online relationship.
Chad Weber faces up to 10 years in prison after pleading guilty Monday to possessing child porn, and he also will have to register as a sex offender. The 22-year-old Colts Neck man is scheduled to be sentenced June 22.
Prosecutors say law enforcement agents learned in April 2013 that Weber had been communicating with the girl. The agents obtained copies of various chat logs and other internet-based messages, many of which were sexually explicit.
Weber and the victim also traded sexually explicit photos of each other online and discussed them in online chats.
