Coyote Killed After Attack On Man In North Jersey Tests Positive For Rabies

SADDLE RIVER, NJ (CBS) – A coyote involved in an attack in North Jersey has tested positive for rabies.

John Zoig, from Saddle River, says he was doing yard work when the animal attacked him, leaving three puncture wounds in his leg.

Doctors gave the retired school teacher eight rabies shots after the attack.

Officials also called an emergency meeting and issued guidelines to area residents.
