Bovada: Phillies World Series Odds Longest In Baseball
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) --- Baseball season is just a few days away, but in Philadelphia, excitement is low---to put it politely.
Just when you thought it couldn't get any worse, when the Phillies were projected to lose 93-94 games back in February (most in MLB), it did. Spring Training began!
Now, Cliff Lee and Domonic Brown are on the disabled list, Ryan Howard's slash line (BA/OBP/SLG) is a disgusting .183/.210/.367 with 18 strikeouts in 62 Spring Training plate appearances, and on Wednesday general manager Ruben Amaro Jr. announced that one of the team's rising stars in left-handed relief pitcher Ken Giles, has a minor back strain.
Oh, and the 2015 World Series odd were released, per Bovada LV.
