City Council To Discuss Bill Requiring Food Truck Safety Inspections
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Philadelphia City Council is trying to prevent another deadly accident like the one that happened in July of 2014.
In that accident, a food truck erupted in flames on Feltonville Street.
A Council committee is scheduled to talk Monday about a bill requiring regular safety inspections of food trucks' fuel tanks.
Two women died in last summer's incident.
Officials say a leaking propane tank triggered the blast.
