Emmanuel Acho Receives Praise From U.S. Congressman For Prom Surprise

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Emmanuel Acho provided us with the most heartfelt of stories this Eagles off-season. A heartwarming story was needed considering all the shocking stories we've had regarding the team.
Acho made a lucky fan's dream come true when he promised to take Hannah Delmonte to her prom.
The Eagles linebacker visited Delmonte's school and surprised her in front of family and friends as he made their trip to prom official.
Today, U.S. Congressman Pete Sessions of Texas commended Acho for his incredible gesture. in the form of a letter sent to the linebacker.

Sessions represents Texas' 32nd district and Acho is a Texas native.
"I appreciate hearing how you chivalrously decided to accompany Hannah Delmonte to her high school prom," Sessions wrote. "You created a moment in this young woman's life that she will never forget."
Sessions added that Acho is a remarkable individual who embodies hard work among a selection of other admirable traits. He also praised Acho's off the field work which was enhanced through his connection with Delmonte's family who has agreed to help Acho's family with their medical charity work in Nigeria.
