By Andrew Porter

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) --- Philadelphia is officially on DeMarco Murray watch.

On Wednesday night, Adam Schefter reported the Eagles would meet with Murray in Philly on Thursday. On Thursday, Mike Fisher of FOX Sports and 105.3 The Fan in Dallas reported that Murray's family is telling people he will become an Eagle.

Fisher joined the 94WIP Mike & Ike Show to talk about his report.

"I think it's today and I don't argue with DeMarco Murray's family when they say he's going to be an Eagle," Fisher said.

"It would be quite a grand orchestrated plot for his family members to be spreading the word like they are, which they started doing about 1:00 a.m. this morning Dallas time, spreading the word and telling each other, 'He's an Eagle. He's joining the Eagles.'

"So I don't think this is a bluff," Fisher said.

Fisher further explained that the Cowboys have a strict financial threshold.

"The Cowboys are under the impression, as long as the Eagles are going to go over Dallas' threshold here---financial threshold, which I'm told is six million dollars a year for DeMarco, then DeMarco Murray is going to be an Eagle," Fisher said.
