Weather: Temperatures Soar To The Highest They've Been Since December

By Geoff Bansen

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Clouds are trying their very hardest to thin out this morning, as last night's rain-maker slowly pushes out to sea.
As the sun peeks through the clouds, temperatures will soar to April-like highs by this afternoon, right around 60 degrees! We haven't seen a daily high like this since, Christmas? Yes, that's right, Christmas Day.

Skies clear out tonight and Thursday is looking like a lovely day by March standards. Temperatures will be in the low 50s under abundant sunshine. Changes come back into the picture on Friday, as our next system approaches. Clouds will thicken under cooler temperatures in the upper 40s. A warm front will bring rain Friday night into Saturday, letting up a bit later in the day. We expect this to clear out for the St. Patrick's Day parade on Sunday, with partly sunny skies but breezy conditions and a high around 50.
