PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – A man has been charged in the death of a worker on the Pennsylvania Turnpike.

The accident happened months ago, but the announcement was made Tuesday.

The suspect was arraigned on vehicular homicide and several other charges earlier on Tuesday.

Police say that on June 1, 2014, the suspect was operating a tractor-trailer in the westbound lanes of the turnpike.

Around 8 that morning, Jensen entered into the closed lane of a work zone and struck two maintenance workers.

William F. McGuigan, a Turnpike employee was killed in that crash.

A Chester County prosecutor says Jensen has been cooperative and is showing remorse. He's expected to be free on bail this afternoon.
