Closing Arguments Presented in Philadelphia Trial of Woman Accused of Killing Another With Butt Injections

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The third-degree murder trial of Padge Victoria Windslowe resumed this morning after a haitus of several days, and the defendant has completed her testimony.
Next, the jury was considering closing arguments in this case.
Padge Victoria Windslowe has repeatedly claimed she learned after performing buttocks-enhancing silicone injections on one client, 20-year-old Claudia Aderotimi, who later died, that the victim had been drinking heavily prior to the procedure. Windslowe's testimony seemed to be suggesting that was the cause of the woman's death. And Windslowe testified that a second victim, who was hospitalized but survived, had been taking drugs.
But there was no testimony during the trial to support the defendant's claims, and prosecution evidence disputes these claims.
In his closing argument, defense attorney David Rudenstein told the jury that Windslowe had "no malice" -- that she may have made mistakes while operating her buttocks-injection business, but that doesn't make her a murderer.
He asked the jury to use its common sense, to consider all the evidence and all the facts, and find Windslowe not guilty of all the charges.
The trial was suspended for several days after Windslowe complained of chest pains and was hospitalized.
