Defendant In Black Market Body Enhancement Trial Expected Back On The Stand For More Cross-Examination Today

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) --- Defendant Padge Victoria Windslowe, charged in a black market beauty enhancement murder case, is expected back on the stand for more cross-examination today.
On Friday, there were several sharp exchanges, allegations, and counter allegations as the prosecutor grilled her.
Several women - clients - testified that Windslowe routinely represented herself as a physician's assistant or nurse practitioner. Windslowe initially denied it, but later acknowledged she had claimed to be a physician's assistant after being confronted with a solicitation email she sent to prospective customers in which she stated she was a practicing physician's assistant.
Windslowe has also challenged testimony about the suffering of victims shortly after injections. She says she didn't see it, and she suggested prosecutorial misconduct -- that witnesses lied -- saying she is very aware how prosecutor Carlos Vega preps his witnesses.
Later as they sparred over a date, Vega challenged her, saying, "the year you killed Claudia." He was referring to Claudia Aderotimi, who died after a silicone injection.
The Judge sustained a defense objection, but Windslowe told Vega, "You are so mean."
Windslowe maintains she wanted to do good, and thought what she was doing was safe.
