"Black Madam" Faces Cross-Examination In Black Market Body Enhancement Murder Case

By Tony Hanson

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The defendant in the black market body enhancement murder and aggravated assault case faced relentless cross-examination Friday.

Padge Victoria Windslowe is charged with murder in the death of one woman, and assault in a second case in connection with illegal buttocks enhancement injections.

The prosecutor opened with pointed questions for the defendant. Referring to evidence surrounding the death of the victim, 20-year-old Claudia Aderotimi, prosecutor Carlos Vega asked Windslowe ... "You put silicone in her and she died?" And then followed that question up with ... "Do you agree with me you killed her?"

The defense objected both times, and Windslowe did not have to answer.

Then Vega went on to suggest through questioning that Windslowe, not properly trained, was in it for the money and didn't care about the harm she caused.

The prosecution cited email sale offers -- a Euro blowout sale and a holiday sale with the come on, 'Tis the season to be jiggly and jolly.

But Windslowe maintains although she liked the money, she wanted to do good and thought it was safe.

Several female clients testified earlier that Windslowe routinely represented herself as a physician's assistant or nurse practitioner. But during direct examination, Windslowe denied that and told the jury she said she had been trained by a nurse.

But during cross-examination, the prosecution presented another email in which Windslowe wrote that she was a practicing physician's assistant. In response, Windslowe explained that she was a physician's assistant to a Doctor in Thailand and that she assisted him, although she acknowledged she is not licensed and has no formal training.
