What's Cooking on 1060: Bowling, 'Dine KOP' and a New Ardmore Eatery

By Hadas Kuznits

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The same family that brought you North Bowl has finally opened their 25,000 square-foot facility at 19 E. Oregon Avenue. After nearly two years in the making, South Bowl finally opened their doors this week to the hungry and thirsty bowling crowd.

"We're doing a lot of pizza," says Oron Daskal, co-owner of South Bowl. "All of our meats are coming from DiBruno Brothers, just good quality cheese, we have a mushroom pizza, we're doing a longhots pizza, we even have a Brussel sprout pizza. We obviously are bringing back the tater tots from North Bowl."

And speaking of the suburbs, Brooke Hersh, marketing and communications manager with the King of Prussia District, says the first ever King of Prussia restaurant week, called "Dine KOP," takes place March 2 through March 8.

"King of Prussia pretty much has every restaurant you can imagine," Hersh says. "We have pretty much every major steakhouse, we have seasonal favorites. We have a lot of locally owned and established restaurants in King of Prussia that have been there for decades."
