Nate Allen Cleared Of Wrongdoing Related To Indecent Exposure Charge

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- On Monday, the State Attorney's Office in Florida released a statement clearing Eagles safety Nate Allen of any wrongdoing in connection to a charge of indecent exposure following an incident that occurred in Fort Myers on February, 16th.

According to the State Attorney's Office, a 16-year old female called authorities after witnessing a man expose himself in a pickup truck on the afternoon of February 16th. Allen was mistakenly identified as the suspect and was detained by authorities.

State Attorney Steve Russell said in a statement "After reviewing the case and situation, Mr. Nate Allen should be commended for his patience, cooperation and understanding. Further the victim should be commended for her cooperation and willingness to report the offense."

The State Attorney's Office concluded that Allen was at a Red Lobster restaurant at the time the offense occurred.
