Twitter Fiction Festival Is Back

The Twitter Fiction festival returns May 11th - 15th.

Jackie Collins, Lemony Snicket and Chuck Wendig are among many authors participating in this year's festival.

During the "virtual" event, authors will share their text, photos, and video on Twitter. Each author will be assigned a daily time slot to live-stream their work.

The Festival will also host a competition for aspiring writers. There is an open call for submissions beginning March 2nd.

Snapchat users can now record video while still playing music on their phones.  Previously when you pressed record, any music playing would automatically pause. Snapchat's update will let you record music from any music app like iTunes or Spotify and reduces the need for a second audio source to record music from.

Last year, Reditt announced plans to donate 10% of its ad revenue to charity and now the social network is revealing the details.

Reddit says in 2014 it brought in about $8.3 million in revenue and will donate over $820,000 to charity. That money will be split evenly among the 10 most popular charities among Reddit users.

Reddit has partnered with CharityNavigator and anyone with a Reddit account can vote for as many charities as they like.
