1 Hospitalized In Wilmington Apartment Building Fire
WILMINGTON, Del., (CBS) – Crews battled a fire at a high-rise apartment building in Wilmington, Delaware.
Firefighters were dispatched at 7:06 p.m. Thursday to the 300 block of East 5th Street for a report of a building fire at the Compton Tower Apartments.
The fire was placed under control at 9:09 p.m.
Fire officials say a female occupant was taken to Wilmington Hospital for smoke inhalation.
The Wilmington Fire Marshal's Office is investigating the cause of the fire.
