The Prevalence Of Computer-Related Injuries

By Dr. Brian McDonough, Medical Editor

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Let me start off by saying this is not evidenced-based, there is no study I am referring to - just my own experience seeing patients every day.

We have an epidemic in this country: an epidemic of back and neck tightness and it is probably the result of too much time on the computer at work or Twitter and Facebook at home - or people bringing computer work home.

Add to this the need to text on cellphones to talk to kids and you get the idea.

The question is what can we do about it?
