Abracadabra! Your Best Magic Trick Could Land You A Spot In A Show At The Academy Of Music

By Robin Culverwell

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Aspiring magicians can win a chance to appear on the Academy of Music stage by submitting their best magic trick on social media.

The winner of this contest will earn a chance to appear on stage with illusionist Adam Trent, and he'll be the judge.

Trent is one of seven magicians appearing at the Academy of Music later this month, according to the Kimmel Center's Dafni Comerota.

"The Kimmel Center and the Illusionist Producers wanted to engage the Philadelphia community, and what better way of connecting with magic of the show to Philadelphians than creating a "best trick" video contest on social media."

Aspiring magicians, 18 and older, can submit their best trick by way of YouTube to socialmedia@kimmelcenter.org.

Trent is described as a futurist who combines singing and dancing into his magic act.

The winner will appear on stage with him February 26th.
