Suspects Sought In Kensington Stabbing

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Police say they are looking for two suspects involved in a stabbing in Kensington late Friday night.

This happened just before 11 p.m. on the 2700 block of Kensington Avenue.

Police say a 35-year-old man was stabbed by another man who was walking with a woman. The male suspect reportedly thought the victim was following them.

The victim was taken to Temple Hospital and treated after an employee at a nearby Chinese restaurant called 9-1-1.

The suspects were last seen fleeing the scene on Hart Lane. The man is described as an 18-22-year-old black man wearing a grey jacket with a mustache with a long soul patch. The woman is described as a Hispanic 18-22-year-old wearing a fluorescent orange fluffy jacket.

The victim told police he never met the suspects before was not not involved in any argument.
