Car Crashes Into Cherry Hill Home

CHERRY HILL, NJ (CBS) – Crews are on the scene after a car crashed into a house in Cherry Hill, NJ on Friday.

The house is across the street from Cherry Hill High School East.

There is a gaping hole inside the home where the car hit it.

Sources tell Eyewitness News the driver may have been elderly and could have stepped on the gas accidentally.

There were people inside the home at the time of the accident, but no one was in the room where the car hit around 3:30 p.m.

The driver was taken to the hospital, and efforts are being made to temporarily shore up the house.

The occupants must find other housing until repairs can be made.
