Is Your New Year's Resolution To Find A Job? An Event In Bucks County Could Help Out

BENSALEM, Pa. (CBS) --- If your New Year's resolution was to find a job or find a new job, there's an event today in Bucks County from 10am to 2pm that could help make those plans a success.
According to an online recruitment magazine, nearly 50% of job seekers look for work in January. This New Year, New Career Job Fair is bringing together more than forty local employers for four hours today at Gwynedd Mercy University in Bensalem.
Jennifer Schultz is the CEO of the website recruitmentqueen.com, which is hosting the fair.
"There's really a job for everyone at every level," Schultz says. "Whether they're coming out of college, entry-level, whether they're experienced, whether they're returning from the military, whether they've been laid off and really just want to change the path of their career."
Her advice? Come armed with updated resumes, and ready to be interviewed by the employers on site.
There will also be breakout sessions on topics including branding yourself on LinkedIn and networking to find a job.
