Some Heated Moments In Bucks County Courtroom During Tollefson Trial

By David Madden

DOYLESTOWN, Pa.(CBS) -- Closing arguments are expected next week in the charity fraud case of former Philadelphia sportscaster Don Tollefson. There was a good deal of contentious give and take between Tollefson and a Bucks County prosecutor.

Judge Rea Boylan at times had to intervene between Tollefson and Assistant DA Matt Weintraub. The sniping between them even got down to mispronouncing each other's name.

Tollefson admitted he was a horrible bookkeeper and co-mingled charitable contributions with personal funds in three different accounts. And his Winning Ways charity lost over $200,000 in the 2013 Super Bowl, a loss he could not recover from.

Weintraub suggested Tollefson's personal finances got so bad he dipped into donations to pay his bills, to the tune of more than $300,000.

An allegation Tollefson steadfastly denied.
