Police Searching For Missing Mount Laurel Mother

By Cleve Bryan

MOUNT LAUREL, N.J., (CBS) -- Police are asking for help to find Erica Crippen-Crosby, a missing 26-year-old mother of two last seen New Year's Eve.

"Erica's missing, can you'll find her? She's a loving mother, her babies need her," says Erica's cousin Barbara Kellam of Willingboro.

Kellam says Erica and her husband Kyle Crosby went out on December 30 to PJ Welihan's in Cherry Hill.

Since then she says there's been no calls, texts, Facebook posts or any other usual types of communication.

Family says Erica has a seven-year-old daughter and a two-month-old daughter.

"The thing that got us all alarmed, why are these babies still here and no word from Erica, not her," says Kellam.

On Wednesday family filed a missing person report with Mount Laurel Police and Friday afternoon the Burlington County Prosecutor's Office released a flyer asking for public assistance locating Crippen-Crosby.

Her car is also missing a 2000 red Ford Taurus with NJ plate A26EFL.

Kellam says that she and other family members took a look in Erica's apartment this week and found the normally tidy residence on the 5200 block of Aberdeen Drive in complete chaos.

Kellam says there was broken glass, a broken window blind and no shower curtain or rod in the bathroom.

Police have not mentioned if they suspect foul play or identified an suspicious persons.

Anyone with information should contact Burlington County Central Communications at 609-265-7113 or the Mount Laurel Police Dept through Facebook at facebook@mountlaurelpd.org
