Injury To Sideline LeBron James In Lone Trip To Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- In the current rebuilding state of the Sixers, the draw to attend and watch games is sometimes fueled by the players coming to town. On January 5th, LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers are scheduled to be in town for their lone visit to Philadelphia.
The problem is, James will not be taking the court that night.
The Cavaliers announced on Thursday that James would be out for at least the next two weeks with strains in both his knee and his lower back. James underwent an MRI on Wednesday that revealed the injuries.
The absence of James could further set back a Cavaliers team that has gotten off to a somewhat slow 18-14 start to their season.
Prior to James' injury, the organization placed the Cavaliers game in two featured ticket plans and excluding the game from its $17.76 ticket promotion as well. An obvious premium was placed on King James taking up court at the Wells Fargo Center.
