Three Officers Injured After Patrol Cars Collide In North Philadelphia
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Three police officers were injured after two patrol cars collided while responding to a call Tuesday night.
Authorities say the officers were called to 22nd Street and Oxford Avenue in North Philadelphia around 11:30 p.m. for reports of shots fired.
Both police cruisers were rushing to the scene when they crashed just a few blocks away at 22nd Street and Montgomery Avenue.
Medics rushed three officers to Temple University Hospital with various, non-life-threatening injuries.
They are listed in stable condition.
The accident is under investigation.
