Utley On Rollins: 'I Will Miss Our Pre-Game Handshake'

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) --- The Phillies have traded Jimmy Rollins to the Los Angeles Dodgers for two minor league pitchers, the team announced on Friday.

Rollins has played in 15 seasons at shortstop for the Phillies, becoming the franchises all-time hits leader. For his entire career, Rollins' double-play partner has been second baseman Chase Utley.

"The Dodgers are very lucky to acquire a player like Jimmy," Utley said in a statement released by the Phillies. "I've said it time and time again that Jimmy makes everyone around him better.  The team will miss his leadership on the field and his infectious smile, but most of all, I will miss our pre-game handshake."

Utley and Rollins' time together is the longest double-play combination in National League history.
