Fire Rips Through West Philly Rowhome

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Officials say one person was taken to the hospital after a fire broke out Friday morning in West Philadelphia.

The blaze started just before 4 a.m. on the unit block of South Conestoga Street.

So far, one person has been taken to the hospital for treatment on a medical condition unrelated to the fire.

The fire was placed under control in about a half an hour and didn't spread to any other homes.

Officials are investigating the cause of the blaze.
