PHILADELPHIA, PA (CBS) — Malcolm Jenkins knew a key to beating Dallas was keeping containment from the big play—and the Cowboys only hit one, a 38-yard completion to Dez Bryant, which led to the Cowboys' only touchdown in the Eagles 33-10 blowout victory.

It's a great sign of what's to come against visiting Seattle this Sunday. Stopping Seattle's Marshawn Lynch poses as large a threat as did putting the clamps on the Cowboys' DeMarco Murray, who the Eagles kept under 100 yards rushing for only the second time in 2014, holding him to a season-low 73 yards on 20 carries.

Jenkins was close to the line of scrimmage in the Dallas game and there is a strong chance Jenkins will be down in the box again against Seattle.

"We're going to need to, because the number-one thing with Seattle is Lynch and that whole team goes where Lynch takes them," Jenkins said. "Russell Wilson is a great quarterback and makes plays, but Lynch is a workhorse. That's where and how they attack, off play-action passes. They max protect and Russell Wilson does a great job extending plays. They're not really a great drop-back passing team.

"It's all predicated off of their play-action. You have Marshawn Lynch, who I think is the hardest tackle in football, it's hard to stay disciplined in the pass game when you have to tackle him every play. I'm sure there will be a safety in the box, whether it's me or Nate [Allen]."

When Bryant came out with the "cheap" comments about the Eagles, he might have been referring to Jenkins and Bradley Fletcher, who worked over the Cowboys' leading receiver and deep threat. They unloaded on Bryant so often that his frustration spilled over after the game.

"I'm really not mad at all," Bryant said. "They beat us and I'm going to accept that, but [expletive] can't wait, but not looking past Chicago [on Dec. 4], but I cannot wait to go up there and play [Philadelphia] again. Cannot wait."

Bryant finished with four catches for 73 yards, no touchdowns, a bloody lip and claimed he was elbowed in the hip.

"They were being kinda cheap," Bryant said. "That's another story. It is what it is. I'll get it cleaned up and I'll be fine."

Jenkins laughed.

"I'm not sure exactly what he was upset about, but he had a lot to say during the game," Jenkins said. "It's football and I don't get caught up in all of that. We just play hard as a team and compete. We'll move on to the next opponent. I don't think we got into [Bryant's] head, but their whole team was frustrated, and everyone saw that. You get frustrated when things don't go your way. I'm sure that where it stems from. Everyone who's ever played football has been there."

Jenkins kept hammering home the Eagles' winning formula on defense: Disrupt the passing game and keep the ball in front of them.

"Our front four needs pressure, and that's how we win games," Jenkins said. "We do a good job stopping the run, even in our nickel packages we do a good job stopping the run. Can we cover early and not let the ball go over our heads? Our offense is starting to come together."
