LeSean McCoy On Crushing The Cowboys: 'It Feels Good'

By Ray Boyd

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- LeSean McCoy has a solid bounce back game on Thanksgiving Day as the Eagles thumped the Cowboys in Dallas. The win lifted the Eagles to 9-3 and lifted the spirits of Eagles fans that may have worried about all the decline talk surrounding their stud back.

McCoy has put that type of talk to bed in the last few weeks and did so on Thursday going head to head with DeMarco Murray. McCoy rushed for 159 yards on 25 carries against Dallas to go along with a touchdown.

McCoy shared his thoughts on the way he felt considering his performance and the team's win.

"It feels good. All that hard work and just the ups and downs through the year this year, it felt good."

"Everything we wanted to do coming into the game we did," McCoy added.

Accomplish everything the team wanted to came down to conditioning. The Cowboys defense appeared to be physical gassed playing on a short week, while McCoy and the Eagles never seemed to let up off the gas.

"The way we train, even that weak we didn't do too much. We just kind of relaxed and saved our bodies."

McCoy admitted that Chip Kelly's style of conditioning has been noticed this season.

"Every year I've been in the league and kind of had short weeks you always talk about it, you're always thinking about it. This is the only time I think like playing, we never think about. I rarely ever think about a short week. I felt fine."

McCoy added that despite the solid performance, he left some plays on the field. "I could have had 200 yard. Just being honest."
