He is a board certified surgeon in Orthopaedic Surgery who specializes in sports medicine and general orthopaedics. Peter Wang, Jr., MD, is currently a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the Arthroscopy Association of North America. He is also board certified in Sports Medicine. From 1996, Dr. Wang served on the Tinker Air Force Base Hospital in Oklahoma, where he became Chief of the Orthopaedic Surgery Clinic in 1999. He has provided coverage for sporting events such as the New York City Marathon in 1993, the New York City Ballet in 1995, and the U.S. Tennis Open from 1992 to 1995. He is currently the team physician for North Penn Ice Hockey.
