Crews Battle House Fire In North Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Crews were called to the scene of house fire overnight in North Philadelphia.

Flames broke out around 12am Wednesday at a home along the 400 block of East Mayfield Street in the city's Fairhill neighborhood.

Firefighters were able to quickly bring the blaze under control.

Fire officials say the house was vacant.

No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire was being investigated.
