Bomb Threat Called Into School In Chester County

WEST GROVE, Pa. (CBS) -- A bomb threat called into a school in Chester County has forced students and staff to evacuate.

Avon Grove Intermediate School says the evacuation was ordered around 11:15 a.m.

Police are searching the building at this time.

Avon Grove says students in third and fourth grade are being relocated to Penn London Elementary School and fifth and sixth graders are going to Fred S. Engle Middle School during the police search.  Officials are asking no one to report to school campus as police are continuing their search.

An investigation is ongoing.
