Chip Kelly With Second Shortest Coach Of Year Odds

By Andrew Porter

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) --- They've suffered key injuries to offensive players, including four of their five starting offensive lineman. They've experienced inconsistent quarterback play from Nick Foles, who is now out for possibly the remainder of the season with a clavicle injury. Their star running back struggled early in the season and all of their pass catchers not-named Jeremy Maclin have been below average.

And some how, they lead the NFL in giveaways. Their atrocious negative nine turnover differential is tied for second worst in the NFL.

Still, the Philadelphia Eagles are 6-2 and in first place in the NFC East. In fact, they're just a couple of yards away from being perfect. As a result, head coach Chip Kelly is---deservedly so---getting a lot of the credit.

Kelly, who is 16-8 in 24 career regular season games in the NFL, is currently 9/2 to win NFL Coach of the Year. Cardinals head coach Bruce Arians, who handed Kelly and the Eagles one of their two losses, is the favorite. While former Eagles head coach Andy Reid, now in his second season with the Kansas City Chiefs, is 6/1.

Check out the full odds below, per Bovada LV:

Bruce Arians                             1/1

Chip Kelly                                 9/2

Bill Belichick                             5/1

Andy Reid                                 6/1

Jim Caldwell                              9/1

Jeff Fisher                                12/1
