Wolf Thanks Pa. Voters, Says He's Ready To Work

YORK, Pa. (CBS) --  The polls proved true.

Democrat Tom Wolf scored a decisive win over incumbent governor Tom Corbett.

Businessman Thomas Westerman Wolf -- spending millions of his own money in his first run for office -- was victorious, becoming Pennsylvania's 47th governor.

In his victory speech, Tom Wolf talked about the four themes he's touched on during his campaign, re-establishing education as a priority, creating good jobs, using the state's gas, coal and timber resources wisely and leveling the playing field for all.

And he told about 1,000 supporters that Pennsylvania deserves to have a great future.

"Let's make this the time. Let's make this the place, Pennsylvania. Let's us be the people to actually create this bright future that we deserve. Let's get started. thank you very much!"
