David V. Craft, MD, is board certified in Orthopaedic surgery from the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and specializes in sports medicine and joint replacements. He completed his fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine where he served as a physician for the Houston Astros, Houston Oilers, and the 1994 NBA Champion Houston Rockets. As an undergraduate and medical student, Dr. Craft received numerous honors and awards, including the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society, American Heart Association Undergraduate Research Prize and Hobart Hare Honor Society. Dr. Craft's written work has been published in numerous publications such as Arthroscopy, American Journal of Physiology, Fracture of the Month, Jefferson Orthopaedic Journal and Journal of Shoulder and Elbow Surgery. Dr. Craft also participated in several scientific presentations across the country such as Fixation Strength of Rotator Cuff Repairs with Suture Anchors and the Transosseous Suture Technique and Suture Anchor vs. Transosseous Tunnel Technique: How Much Strength is Enough? He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery, Arthroscopy Association of North America, Pennsylvania Orthopaedic Society and Philadelphia Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine.
