Vote: Losing Confidence In Nick Foles?

By Andrew Porter

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) --- Maybe it's patience. Maybe it's stubbornness. Maybe it's loyalty. Maybe it's trust.

Or maybe, just maybe, it's simply fear of the alternative. Eagles fans are sticking by their quarterback, but barely.

In Tuesday's Audio Roadshow poll question on the 94WIP Morning Show, while the plurality of fans said "yes" when asked if Nick Foles is the Eagles' franchise quarterback, 62 percent voted "no" or "not sure."

Foles, 25, is in his third NFL season and his first in which he began as the starting quarterback. The Eagles are 5-2 through their first seven games, and while Foles' 291 passing yards per game is fifth in the NFL, his 59.2 completion percentage is 28th and his nine interceptions (to go along with three fumbles) are tied for third.

As Foles continues to backpedal from pass rushers, fans continue to backpedal from Foles.
