Peyton Manning Is Particular, Andrew Hawkins Is Funny And Aaron Craft Is A Bear?

More Columns here.

I love a good rookie prank and Peyton Manning proves he is nothing if not a perfectionist.  Here are the top five most amusing sports stories this week.

Rookie Bear?

Rookie pranks come and go, but thanks to modern technology and social media this video of Golden State Warriors newbie Aaron Craft dressed as a bear singing Miley Cyrus’s ‘Party In the USA’ will live on forever.

That’s THE Ohio State, right?

Just Kidding

There is nothing I love more than an athlete with an amazing sense of humor who doesn’t take himself too seriously.  Well, except for an athlete with an amazing sense of humor who doesn't take himself too seriously who also makes children the butt of his jokes.

Browns WR Andrew Hawkins did just that. Check out the Instagram video starring his son whose favorite receivers just so happen to be Mohamed Sanu and A.J. Green – Hawkins' former teammates.

Out Brady-ed

PLAY OF THE GAME (NORTH GREENVILLE VS. MARS HILL) by North Greenville Athletics on YouTube

Bad news for Tom Brady and his model-wife Gisele Bundchen: As it turns out quarterbacks can “bleeping” throw the ball and catch the ball at the same time.  Some even score their own touchdowns.

Enter Exhibit A:  North Greenville University signal-call Nelson Hughes. Something tells me Hughes doesn’t even own a pair of Uggs.

The Wolves Of Rodeo Drive?

Minnesota Timbertrolls 90210 by Marcos López on YouTube

Even though the rookie players on the Minnesota Timberwolves were barely alive when Beverly Hills 90210 ruled the television airwaves, the organization has used the 90's smash hit to create a mash-up hype video.

I wonder if they all went to the Peach Pit to hang out with Nate after the video shoot?

Manning The Ship

Remember that warm and fuzzy moment on Sunday night when Peyton Manning broke the career touchdown record and some of his teammates started an impromptu game of keep away? Endearing right? Only, it wasn’t exactly impromptu. And Manning allegedly came up with the idea himself.

Manning was blown up by Demaryius Thomas during a post-game interview. Thomas even claimed they practiced the moves beforehand.

If there was ever a question in your mind about Manning’s fastidiousness this should leave no room for doubt, although he refused to completely cop to the pre-planning.

And speaking of his fastidiousness……  Peyton Manning freaked out during the final minutes of Thursday Night's game as the Broncos were trying to run out the clock on their way to a divisional win because the crowd was going absolutely wild.

Manning’s on-field histrionics wouldn’t be so surprising if they weren’t up 14 points and, essentially, had already won the game.

This behavior makes it perfectly clear why I got Peyton Manning in our CBS Local Sports quiz  'Which NFL Quarterback are you?' You can take the quiz here.

Let me know which play caller you are!  E-mail me at tara.lipinsky@cbs.com or send me a Tweet @TaraLipinsky.
