Montco Law Firm Celebrates Milestone By Giving Back And Planning For The Future

NORRISTOWN, Pa. (CBS) -- A Montgomery County law firm is celebrating a milestone anniversary this year by planning for the future and giving back to the community they continue to serve.
There have been many changes in Norristown over the last 100 years, but one constant has been the High Swartz law firm. They've been providing legal services to the central Montgomery County community for a century and according to top management there are no plans to slow down.
Managing partner Joel Rosen says mentoring has been key, as younger partners move up to more senior positions and associates become partners.
Rosen says, "We've recently rolled out a plan to increase ownership of the firm with the middle group so that in fact you can see the next twenty, thirty years of life for the firm continuing."
All year long they've celebrated the milestone by getting involved in community fundraising efforts, not only by writing checks, but volunteering their time.
There's also a book that highlights the company's history and some of their more high profile cases.
