Rowan University Takes Action Against 2 Men Accused Of Posting Sex Tape Online

By David Madden

GLASSBORO, NJ (CBS) -- Last month, two Rowan University frat brothers posted a video on line depicting one of them having consensual sex with a female student. While the woman declined to press charges, the school has taken action against the two men.

It took a couple weeks for the internal appeals process to play out, but the two men are serving a suspension.

Federal law precludes Rowan spokesman Joe Cardona from saying how long that suspension is, or even identifying them by name.

But once that suspension is over, "the student would then be able to re-register for classes and, of course, they would have to come back and come to the judicial hearing officer and indicate that they are coming back."

The school would then decide if they'd be welcomed back. Both men resigned from the Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity, which is not facing any university sanctions.
