2 Injured In School Bus Accident In Delaware

GREENVILLE, Del. (CBS) – Delaware State Police are investigating a crash involving a school bus and three other vehicles in New Castle County, Delaware.

The crash occurred Wednesday around 3:30 p.m. on southbound Kennett Pike at Sunnyside Road in Greenville.

Nine Delaware Military Academy students were on board the bus at the time, according to police. None were injured.

Police say the school bus struck the back of a vehicle, which in turn struck a second vehicle, which then struck a third vehicle.

Two people were taken to local hospitals and treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Police say the school bus driver was cited by troopers with following too closely.
