Suspects Caught On Tape Slashing Tires In Juniata Park

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Police are searching for three suspects who were caught on tape slashing tires on several cars in a Philadelphia neighborhood.

The vandalism happened sometime between 10 p.m. September 30th and 4:30 a.m. October 1st in the city's Juniata Park section.

Authorities describe two women and a man caught on camera, possibly white or Hispanic, but on other surveillance video found by Eyewitness News, there is a fourth person who is driving a light colored SUV. The driver is seen waiting and watches the suspects, including one of the women who punctures more tires, then they all pile in the SUV and drive off, leaving hundreds of dollars worth of damage.

Eyewitness News was there as Ed Bush found out his tire was punctured.

"Can't believe it."

It all happened within a two block radius on the 1600 block of Worrell and the 4000 block of Potter Streets.

The owner of this surveillance video that recorded the suspects driving away did not want to appear on camera, but he has a message for the group.

"Don't come around here again. We are looking for you."

Neighbors tell Eyewitness News as many as eight different vehicles were hit.

After slashing the tires, the suspects ran away in an unknown direction.
