Gov. Corbett Demands Racy E-Mails Be Turned Over To Him

HARRISBURG, Pa. (CBS) -- Gov. Tom Corbett is formally requesting that the state attorney general's office turn over explicit e-mails that were shared among state employees.
Eight people are associated with the racy e-mails, shown yesterday to reporters by a technician in the attorney general's office.
Two of those associated with the e-mails are high-ranking Corbett administration officials, and another was appointed by Corbett to serve on a board.
Lynn Lawson, the governor's communications director, says the attorney general needs to turn all explicit e-mails over to Corbett.
"There are individuals' names who have been cited as affiliated with this type of activity. It is critical for the governor to get this information in front of him so that he can make an informed determination on next steps," Lawson said.
The e-mails, sent and received between 2008 and 2012, range from nude photos to hardcore videos involving men and women. State attorney general Kathleen Kane has declined to make them public.
Lawson says Corbett has not seen the e-mails and would not have tolerated that kind of activity.
