Gas Main Break Forces Evacuations In Doylestown

DOYLESTOWN, Pa. (CBS) -- A large gas main break forced evacuations in a Bucks County town Wednesday morning.

The gas main break happened at Main Street and Shewell Avenue in Doylestown.

As a precaution, several businesses in the area were evacuated.

The Doylestown Courthouse is located near the gas main break, but that building was not evacuated.

Shortly after 9 a.m., the gas main leak was secured, but the buildings remains evacuated.

The incident remains investigation.
